The Prisoner of Valir is my first completed book — though it is far from the first thing I have written. I spent my youth filling pages with stories, quietly encouraged along the way by teachers who kept telling me not to stop.

Life took a different professional turn: I built a career in management within B2B SaaS. The love of writing never left, it simply waited.

The idea for The Veils of Belevere arrived one summer, and everything changed. Since then, my personal time has belonged to this world.

As an avid reader of fantasy, I wanted to write the kind of book I keep looking for and rarely find: an intricate world, and a plot that pins you to the sofa until the last page.

My influences come from the fantasy I love, but just as much from writers far outside the genre.
